A unique chance to experience aviation in authentic 1930s style! Nothing compares with flying over the beautiful English countryside in an original Tiger Moth biplane. What's more, you'll be kitted out with authentic goggles and a flying jacket! It could be a summer’s day in 1932 as you enjoy this perfect blend of fun and nostalgia. It's a great feeling being in the air in a Tiger Moth - the cockpit is open so you can feel the wind and hear the rush of air flowing past you!

Your adventure begins with a pre-flight briefing to familiarise yourself with the controls of this historic aircraft. Seated behind your instructor, you taxi out to the runway and then take to the skies for a flight of pure nostalgia. During the flight you'll have the chance to take the controls; cruising at a speed of around 80 knots (just over 80 miles per hour) you'll have a fantastic view of the hedgerows, trees, people, their houses and cars.

Give your fantasies free rein as you go back in time and experience the thrill of open cockpit flying in a classic biplane! During your visit, a briefing will be followed by your dramatic flight. Depending on the location, you can take the controls in a trial lesson under the guidance of an expert instructor, or you can take a pleasure flight as your pilot puts the plane through its paces.

When you arrive, you will be issued with any necessary protective clothing (sometimes this is a leather helmet and goggles). You will then be briefed by your instructor before the flight. If you are taking a Trial Lesson you will have the opportunity to take the controls and fly the plane. If you are taking a Pleasure Flight, you will be ‘chauffeured’ as a passenger in the aircraft as the professional pilot puts the plane through its paces.

With a Tiger Moth Flight experience voucher you will receive a 30 minute briefing before the 20 min Tiger Moth flight, and also the loan of leather helmet, goggles and genuine Irvin jacket. When airborne, your instructor will invite you to handle the controls of the Tiger Moth and experience the thrill of flying one of these beautiful old machines. A Tiger Moth Trial Lesson Flight certificate will be awarded afterwards.
