Experience the thrill of aerobatics in
a vintage Tiger Moth. The romance of open cockpit flight
– with loops and barrel rolls – Seeing the sparkling
Indian Ocean below and the wide-open West Australian blue
skies above – turn your whole world upside down –
it’s FANTASTIC.
Be transported back in time to the early
days of aviation when the first lady of the skies, the Tiger
Moth represented true freedom. Your pilot will explain your
flight options, then escort you out onto the tarmac and
strap you into the aircraft.
Once you are in, complete with leather
flying helmet, your adventure begins by flying out from
Jandakot towards the West Australian coast and your pilot
will point out the local features while you sit back and
relax. On reaching the coastline the aerobatic manoeuvres
will be performed within sight of the beach over the gorgeous
Indian Ocean. Only in a Tiger Moth will you experience the
romance and adventure of flying - a truly remarkable aircraft.
Arriving back at Jandakot you will be presented with your
certificate of membership to the exclusive Tiger Club as
one of the few people who have flown in this amazing old
lady of the sky.
Allow approx 1 hour for the whole experience,
which includes briefing, 30 minutes flying time and time
for photo opportunities. Please arrive at least 15 minutes
prior to your booking time.
- Minimum age of 13 years for all participants
and a maximum weight of 100kg.
- Standard CASA charter documentation is completed by your
pilot.
- Open 7 days a week from 8:00am to 5:00pm – Closed
Good Friday and Christmas Day.
