uninhibited as you silently glide over the countryside.
A model world appears below, familiar landmarks take on new
perspectives, whether you are close to the ground viewing
wildlife, or up amongst the clouds marvelling at their powdery
puffs you will be intrigued by this aerial mystery tour.
agenda - Having decided upon your preferred
location from the list attached, register with your chosen
balloon operator and advise them of your availability. The
operator will then contact you when there is a promising weather
forecast, and a flight is being arranged for your preferred
day, to see if you are available. Follow the balloon operator's
pre-flight instructions, call for a final weather check the
evening prior to your morning flight to ensure the weather
is suitable, and be sure to arrive in plenty of time for your
flight. Balloons are flown first thing in the morning and
last thing in the day from spring to autumn and occasionally
throughout the day in winter. Flights last about an hour,
the whole experience lasts around three hours. Cameras and
videos are welcome so bring plenty of film.
- Flights are available from March to October
- Voucher valid for 10 months
- Monday to Friday morning flights only (excluding bank holidays)
- You must not fly if you are pregnant or under the influence
of drugs or alcohol.
- The operator will not fly children under the age of 8
- A child under the age of 16 will only be flown if accompanied
by a adult
- Minimum height is 4 foot 6 inches
- Flights are subject to weather conditions and sufficient
passengers booked.
- There must be wind speeds of less than 10 mph, reasonable
visibility, a stable atmosphere and no rain or snow.
Old flat weatherproof shoes or walking boots
and comfortable casual walking clothing suitable to the appropriate
time of year are recommended as you will take off and land
in a field. It is recommended that other garments should be
made from natural as opposed to man made fabrics. Ladies are
advised to wear trousers.

Few experiences are as serene and at the
same time thrilling - the sensation of time suspended as the
world glides gently by. Your fun begins with the inflation
of the balloon. Then away you go where the wind dictates.
Once landed and the balloon packed away, you will be returned
to the launch site. It's a magical experience that's wonderful
to share, so why not buy an Explorer voucher for two.
You will be briefed on the flight before
take-off. As part of the experience, you may participate in
helping set up the balloon and also to pack it away after
landing. The retrieve crew will follow the balloon and meet
you after the landing to return you to the launch site. You
should allow approximately 3-4 hours in total for your trip
and the retrieve, depending upon conditions on the day.
- Minimum age 12.
- Under-16's must be accompanied by an adult (under 18’s
need parental/guardian consent)
- You should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb
in and out of the basket!

This fantastic Hot Air Balloon Flight allows
you to float over the countryside and watch the world go gently
by. Nothing could be more serene than a hot air balloon flight,
looking at the fields, hedgerows and villages dappled in the
soft light. It's a perfect way to take fabulous pictures -
and a treat to remember for many years.
When you arrive at the balloon ride launch
site you will be welcomed by the balloon pilot and given a
detailed briefing. The balloon will then be inflated with
hot air and, after final safety checks, you will take off
for your balloon flight of a lifetime.
After a hot air balloon flight of around
one hour you will touch down gently to a champagne reception.
The hot air balloon will be packed away and you return to
the launch site by road.
- Flights Availability: Throughout the year
but April to September is best.

Your hot air balloon will take off just
after sunrise or just before sunset (whichever you prefer),
as these are the most serene, calm times of day. After a briefing
from your pilot, the balloon is inflated (you can help if
you wish!) and you and your fellow passengers will climb aboard
for an hour's magical flight over the beautiful countryside.
After landing everyone helps to pack the balloon away and
then you, your pilot and crew are all returned to the launch
site. This will be a flight to remember!

every day of the week. Not all venues offer morning flights,
The best weather conditions for flying are usually between
April and October.
