The Albatros
D-III evolved from a racing biplane into one of the
most successful fighters of WWI. It was powered by
an in-line 6 cylinder, water-cooled Mercedes engine.
Most of Germany's WWI aces flew this plane and fought
on all fronts of the war. Plastic kit features a detailed
engine with intake manifold and exhausts; cockpit
with floor, seat, instrument panel and rudder bar;
and includes markings for four airplane. 71/2"
