This, the first ever 1/72 scale die cast model of
a Fairey Swordfish, replicates an aircraft from the
most famous Swordfish mission of all: the May, 1941,
flight from the HMS Ark Royal during which a Swordfish
torpedo disabled the rudder of the German battleship
Bismarck. The model features textured surface details,
fully rigged folding wings, a detailed radial engine
with a rotating propeller, pilot and gunner figures,
authentic markings and, of course, the famous torpedo.
