 USS Los Angeles Balsa Kit
The USS Los Angeles was originally built in 1923 at the Zeppelin works in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and was the world's largest airplane when first flown. Often used as a military test bed, the Los Angeles pioneered the technique of the airplane-airship hook-up. This balsa wood kit features laser-cut lite plywood bulkheads, contest quality balsa, formed plastic detail parts, and quality covering tissue. Finished model is 24" in length with a 4" diameter; assembly required.
