Domenic DeNardo. In March of 1944, Captain Don Gentile and Lt. John Godfrey combined to shoot down 16 enemy airplane including six in one mission. Known for their mutually supportive combat tactics, the two were referred to as "Damon and Pythias of the 20th century" by Winston Churchill. Print depicts them on March 16, 1944 on a mission on the outskirts of Munich with Gentile flying his VF-T and Godfrey in VF-P. 27"x 22" print is signed and numbered by the artist.

A Pistol Whipping
Stan Stokes. An unusual dogfight occurred between Captain Arthur C. Fiedler, Jr. of the 325th Fighter Group and a German Bf 109 pilot when they met nearly head-on, causing Fiedler to slam his P-51 into a near vertical bank. After firing a few shots, his guns jammed and he was suddenly parallel with the Bf 109, prompting him to pull his service revolver in full view of the 109 pilot, who ejected. 16"x 11?" limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist.

Surprise at Asch
Marc Stewart. In December 1944, the Germans broke through Allied lines and the 352nd Fighter Group moved to a forward base in Asch, Belgium. Expecting a Luftwaffe "surprise" attack on January 1, Col. John C. Meyer led 12 P-51s of the 352nd FG to meet the enemy - with Col. Meyer shooting down an FW 190 even before his landing gear had retracted. Howard of the 354th Fighter Group single-handedly defends B-17s of the 401st Bombardment Group from numerous enemy fighter attacks, successfully saving the group and downing a number of German airplane. Simon Atack. Dramatic print captures Robin Olds flying his "Scat VII" for his last air victory of WWII. In late spring 1945, while flying escort to B-17 bombers of the 381st Bomb Group, he downed an Me109 G10 over Germany. P-51B Old Crow
Col. C.E. "Bud" Anderson flew with the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group, and led Cement Squadron on June 29, 1944, just southwest of Leipzig, Germany. After confirmation of the first victory, he saw the second Fw 190 heading for the clouds and pursued, attacking from the rear. The canopy flew off and the pilot started to climb out as Anderson flew alongside his Luftwaffe opponent. This print captures the dramatic scene. This day, Capt. Anderson would claim a total of three Fw 190s expiring 1195 rounds. Limited edition of 900, signed and numbered by the artist and Col. Anderson. 29"x 22?" print.

Sting of the Yellowjackets
Robert Bailey. A single Flying Fortress finds itself all alone in enemy skies, damaged by flak during its bomb run. One engine has been shut down, control surfaces are shredded and there are wounded airmen aboard. Struggling to maintain altitude, the B-17 is attacked by two Me 109s bent upon its destruction. Fighters from the 361st Fighter Group/375th Fighter Squadron enter the fray, destroying one of the attackers and driving off his wingman. The journey home will be uneventful, now that the injured crew has its own private escort of the determined Little Friends.
