In 1942, the U.S. Navy realized that there was a growing need for airplane that could carry a large amount of anti-submarine weaponry. The answer came in the form of a naval B-24 from an Air Force production facility. During the course of the war the plane was modified and refined, serving the U.S. well until the end of the conflict. Plastic kit features detailed surfaces with metal seams, bolt heads and hatches. Includes front and rear machine gun bulbs, interior bomb racks and realistic engine assemblies. 17" wingspan when assembled.
