army bombers from an aircraft carrier and attacking
Tokyo. In this video, the raid comes to life through

History Undercover:
B-25 Down
- VHS Video
Hunt for a Hero. In 1943, Major William Benn and
his crew crashed their B-25 in New Guinea, joining
the countless other aircraft lost on the undeveloped
island. 50 years later, Fred Hagen - Benn's grand-nephew
- embarked on an epic quest to find the plane. In
the jungle he found not just the B-25 but also the
remains of a P-47. Here, Hagen details his long
search - including the additional task he took upon
himself after discovering the P-47. 50 minutes. |
